I have been going back and forth with being peeved at this Brooke character and peeved at the journalist all week. But at the end of the day, the well connected bubbly PR "girl" who drops names like a boat anchor (you're right, classic quote!) and dates REM band members makes for a more entertaining story than a sharp, poignant non-name dropping one. I still think there's a good story about PR practitioners who break all the stereotypes. Looks like we'll have to wait a while. Amen, Lisa.

I still think there’s a good story about PR practitioners who break all the stereotypes. Looks like we’ll have to wait a while.

My favorite quote in the article is from one of Brooke's clients that says "She drops names like a boat anchor." More annoying are all the "wanna-be's" that have been congrating her all week.
